How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. The easiest way to do this is to remove the propeller from the motor shaft. Then you should remove any wires attached to the motor and look at the inner workings of the motor itself. If you spot something wrong, you can identify which part of the motor needs to be fixed.

If the motor is in good condition, you shouldn't worry. But if it looks like one of the images below, you will need to replace parts before you can fly again.

Suppose a motor has been bent up so it won't turn anymore. The motor must be bent again. You could use a vice grip or a pair of pliers to hold the motor while bending it back into shape. After you've completed the above, ensure that you inspect the motor for signs and wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. Now your drone is ready to fly!
